VOCAL TRAINING with Mark Burnell

  • Mark has taught voice for over 25 years.  His studio in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood includes a Steinway grand, a recording studio, an extensive music library, sound system, and an acoustic-friendly room to sing in.  He has played thousands of auditions, hosted open mics, music directed theatre shows, accompanied cabaret shows, showcases and concerts, and served on clinics and competitions.   An accomplished professional vocalist and pianist, Mark has toured Europe several times, recorded many CDs, and has sung the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox, Cubs, and Bulls.

Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion

Workshops with Anne & Mark Burnell

Cabaret was born in Paris and soon after it took root in Chicago. Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion bridges our performance communities through cultural exchange. Every other year the conference is held in Chicago or Paris.  The event includes workshops, round tables, open mics, and a series of spectacular concerts. The public is welcome to experience the conference and the concerts.
